Joseph Carrier

M, b. circa 1705, d. 26 July 1765
     Joseph was born circa 1705 in Pointe-de-Levy, Lauzon, Levis County, Quebec, Canada. This date was calculated from his age at death. He was the son of Charles Carie & Marie Gezeron. Joseph married Marie-Anne Guay, daughter of Louis Guyet and Marie-Susanne Samson, on 5 November 1737 in Pointe-de-Levy, Lauzon at St-Joseph Church.1 Joseph & Marie-Anne had a daughter, Marie-Anne [4/04/1740-8/16/1824][m. 1/18/1762 Joseph Fradet].2 Joseph's wife, Marie-Anne, died on 25 April 1743 in Pointe-de-Levy, Lauzon leaving him a widower. He married 2nd, 18 November 1743, Marie-Francoise Belan dit Lacomb at Pointe-de-Levy, Lazon.3 Joseph departed this life on Friday, 26 July 1765 in Pointe-de-Levy, Lauzon. He was buried there in the cemetery of St-Joseph on Saturday, 27 July 1765.4
