Francois Denevers (?)

     Francois Denevers was born in 1674 in Quebec. He was the son of Guilaume Denevers & Louise Vitar. Francois married Marie-Anne Marcotte, daughter of Jacques Marcotte and Elisabeth Isabelle Salle, on 7 July 1698 in Cap-Sante, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, at Ste-Familie Church.1 Francois and Marie Anne had children: Marie Josephe [1699-5/20/1788][m. 1/07/1732 Michel Rognon dit LaRoche], Marie Ursule [1702-4/17/1749][m. 4/06/1728 Louis Jodoin], Marie Anne [1704- 3/10/1729][m 1/07/1728], Jacques [1706-6/30/1729], Marie Jeanne [1706][m. 11/30/1731 Michel Denevers dit Boisvert], Jean Baptiste [1708-5/03/1768][m. 8/31/1739 Marie Angelique Boisvert] & Louis [1718-2/25/1782][m. 5/14/1747 Marie Louise Houde].2 Francois departed this life on Friday, 13 April 1753 in Lotbiniere, Lotbiniere County, Quebec, Canada, at age 79 years. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Louis on Saturday, 14 April 1753.3
