Charles Calle

     Charles was born circa 1669 in Sarlat-la-Canéda, Dordogne, Nouvelle-Aqutaine, France. He was the son of Charles Calle and Marie Catherine ______. He was christened there circa 1669 in St Jean de Beigaroque. Charles married Francoise Massard, daughter of Nicolas Massard and Anne Bellesoeur dit Lucas, on 20 April 1699 in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada, at the Basilica of Notre Dame.1 On the same day, he was buried there in Hotel-Dieu.2 Charles departed this life on Wednesday, 17 January 1703 in ville de Quebec.
