     Judith was born in Felpham, County Sussex, England. She was christened there on 6 March 1635 in the church of the Virgin Mary.2 Judith married John Ogden circa 1660.3 John & Judith had children: Hannah [ca. 1667][m. Hachaliah Brown], Joseph [ca. 1669-1715][m. Mary Miller], Ruth [ca. 1670-11/20/1706][m. John Lyon], John [ca. 1671-1746][m. Susannah Dunscomb], Richard [ca. 1673][m. Elizabeth Church], Elizabeth [ca. 1674-1742][m. 1690 Judge Joseph Purdy], Abigail [ca. 1676][m. Thomas Lyon] & David [ca. 1679-1767][m. Elizabeth Miller].4 By 1674, they were residing at Rye, Westchester County, New York.5,6 Judith's husband, John, died before 7 August 1682 in Rye leaving her a widow. Judith married 2nd Francis Browne in 1683 in New York. Francis was married 1st to a Miss Ruscoe, married 2nd 17 December 1657 a Miss Chapman. John Budd of Rye gives to his sister, Judith Browne, "the daughter of my honored father and the heir of hers, Joseph Ogden, a lot of land given by will of my father dated October 15, 1669 on the eastside of Ould Westchester Path and on Stoney Brook"on 10 July 1683.7
