     Pierre was born on Saturday, 16 November 1697 in L'Ange-Gardien, Montmorency County, Quebec, Canada. He was christened on the same day there in the church of L'Ange-Gardien.1 Pierre married Angelique Marcotte on 3 October 1741 in Deschambault, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, at the church of St-Joseph.2 Pierre & Angelique had children: Marie-Angelique [2/15/1743], Pierre [7/26/1745-9/26/1830][m. 1/30/1792 Marguerite Hamelin dit Belou], Louis-Joseph [11/18/1746-1/26/1833][m. 1/31/1774 Marie-Josephe Montambault dit Leveille], Jacques [12/25/1747-12/28/1747], Francois [3/16/1749], Scholastique [11/21/1750-11/28/1750], Marie-Francoise [7/11/1752-7/28/1827][m. 8/06/1787 Pierre-Jean Falardeau], Jean-Baptiste [11/24/1753], Pelagie [/23/1756-9/09/1756], Ambroise [6/26/1759-3/24/1828][m. 4/30/1792 Catherine Lajoie dit Husson], Jean-Francois [8/23/1761-8/25/1761] & Marie-Josephe [1/02/176411/25/1805][m. 11/13/1780 Francois Roy dit Portelance].3 Pierre departed this life on Friday, 1 June 1781 in Deschambault at age 83 years, 6 months and 16 days. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Joseph on Saturday, 2 June 1781.4
