Louis Brunot

M, b. circa 24 August 1715, d. 16 November 1784
     Louis was born in Champlain, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Pierre Brunot & Catherine Chapelin. He was christened there on 24 August 1715 in the church of La Visitation.1 Louis married Marie-Josephe Brunette, daughter of Francois Brunette and Louise Letartre, on 5 February 1742 in Grondines, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Charles-de-Roches Church.2 Louis and Marie Josephe had children: Louis Joseph [11/21/1742-5/16/1826][m. 6/20/1768 Marie Angelique Lepreux dit Montois], Jacques [3/01/1744-3/09/1744], Louis Joseph 3/01/1744-3/11/1744], Marie Angelique [4/19/1745], Marie Francoise [10/05/1746-6/19/1807][m. 8/17/1767 Francois Amable Phenix de Dauphinais], Francois 4/21/1748-9/04/1780][m. 7/19/1773 Marie Edeline], Marie Josephe [3/12/1750-4/29/1827][m. 9/24/1770 Jacques Daigle la Llemand], Marie Rose [5/08/1753-10/28/1791][m. 10/10/1773 Jean Baptiste Drogue dit Lajoie], Marie Judith [4/14/1756][m. 11/07/1774 Pierre Tetreau dit Ducharme].3 Louis's wife, Marie-Josephe, died on 20 February 1781 in Beloiel, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. Louis departed this life on Tuesday, 16 November 1784 in St-Charles-sur-Richelieu, Montreal. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Alphonse on Wednesday, 17 November 1784.4
