Elizabeth Esther Bruen

     Elizabeth Esther was born on Monday, 2 August 1683 in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey. She was the daughter of John Bruen and Esther Lawrence. Elizabeth Esther married Joseph Baldwin, son of Jonathan Baldwin and Hannah Ward, on 12 June 1700 in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut. Elizabeth departed this life on Thursday, 29 September 1746 in Newark at age 63 years, 1 month and 27 days. She was buried there in the Connecticut Farms Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Her body was removed from this cemetery on December 12, 1844 and reburied in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Newark.
