Ruth Brown1

F, b. 30 June 1714, d. 20 May 1791
     Ruth was born on Saturday, 30 June 1714 in Stonington, New London County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Eleazer & Ann "Mary" [Pendleton] Brown. Ruth married Benjamin Randall, son of John Randall II and Mary Baldwin, in 1733 in Stonington. Ruth departed this life on Friday, 20 May 1791 in Colchester at age 76 years, 10 months and 20 days.

His house stood in the eastern part of lands purchased by the Brown brothers, about twenty-five rods south of the Brown Cemetery and north of the Miner Meeting house. Headstones were erected to their graves by the late Daniel Brown (386). Probably these were the first interments in these grounds. He was a farmer and stock raiser. [Hhis Will, Appendix IV.]
