Rev. John Brock

M, b. 1620, d. 18 June 1688
     John was born in 1620 in Stradbrook, Suffolk, England. He was the son of Henry Brock. He graduated from Harvard College in 1646, eventually ministered to the Fishermen at the Isle of Shoals for 12 years before replacing the deceased Rev. Samuel Haugh on 13 November 1662.1 John married Sarah Haugh, daughter of Reverend Zachariah Symmes and Sarah Baker, on 14 November 1662 in Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. She was the widow of the Rev. Samuel Haugh. John departed this life on Friday, 18 June 1688 in Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1
