Joseph Brault-Pominville

M, b. 3 June 1706, d. 16 March 1777
     Joseph was born on Thursday, 3 June 1706 in Lachine, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Joseph Brault dit Pomiinville & Marie-Anne Marchand. He was christened on the same day there in Sts-Anges Gardiens Church.1 Joseph married Louise Pare, daughter of Jean Pare and Marie-Marguerite Picard, on 1 December 1727 in Lachine, Montreal at Sts-Anges Gardiens Church.2 Joseph & Louise had children; Marie-Elisabeth-Amable [9/28/1728][m. 9/27/1751 Pierre Bourdeaux], Joseph-Amable [9/29/1730], Angelique [7/14/1732-9/07/1755], Jean-Pascal [7/18/1734][m. 1/08/1759 Marie-Therese Leduc], Marie-Josephe [ll/09/1735][m. 1/12/1761 Alexis Roy], Marie-Ursule [7/06/1737][m. 9/21/1761 Joseph Groux], Jean-Louis [9/11/1739][m. 1/25/1768 Marie-Louise Gaudry dit Bourbonieres], Pierre [9/21/1742][m. 10/31/1763 Francoise Lamy des Founds] & Jean-Baptiste [8/09/1747-11/23/1747].3 Joseph's wife, Louise, died on 1 October 1776 in Lachine, Montreal leaving him a widower. Joseph departed this life on Sunday, 16 March 1777 in Lachine, Montreal at age 70 years, 9 months and 13 days. He was buried there in the churchyard of Sts-Anges Gardiens on Tuesday, 18 March 1777.4
