John was born. He has a sister Catherine. John married Margaret Mile, daughter of Henry Mile, after 1356. Margaret was the widow of William de Welham in 30 Edward III [1356]. He resided in Colthorpe Manor house. This was just outside Bambury. In the lay Subsidy Rolls of the 2nd or 4th of Richard II, John heads the list. Next to his name was written "armiger". John sold off some of the property that Margaret brought to this marriage & had been her deceased husbands in 51 Edward III 1377. John departed this life before 1392.
