Joanna Boyse

     Joanna was born in Halifax, Halifax Parish, Yorkshire, England. She was the daughter of Rev. John Boyse of Halifax, Yorkshire, England & Joan Stowe.1,2 Joanna married Reverend Peter Prudden in New Haven County, Connecticut. Joanna's husband, Peter, died before 19 September 1671 in Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut, leaving her a widow. Joanna married 2nd Honorable Thomas Willett, son of Thomas Willett I and Alice (?), on 19 September 1671. Joanna's husband, Thomas, died on 4 August 1674 in Swansea Township, Bristol County, Massachusetts, leaving her a widow. She then married 3rd Reverand John Bishop; This location is now in East Providence, Rhode Island.3,4,5 Joanna made her will on 8 November 1681. Joanna departed this life after 8 November 1681.
