Especial attention should be called to the married name of Richard Bowin's daughter Ruth. Pope's "Pioneers of Massachusetts", page 6, calls her Ruth "Leverich"; but the original record plainly reads "Ruth Kenericke", in two places. The first letter of the surname is the same as in the word "Knowne", at the beginning of the will, and is entirely unlike the capital letter in " Leanto" and "Lands", in the same record.
