Louise Bousquet

     Louise was born on Saturday, 18 October 1704 in Repentigny, L'Assomption County, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Jean Bousquet & Marie-Louise Luissier. She was christened there on 19 October 1704 in the Church of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary.¹ Louise married Pierre Lescarbot dit Bosseron, son of Jean Lescarbot dit Bosseron and Marie-Anne Baudouin, on 29 October 1721 in Repentigny at the Church of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary.² Pierre & Louise had children: Madeleine [11/29/1725-9/24/1758][m. 5/05/1744 Pierre Gour], Therese [8/20/1727-12/31/1809][m. 2/10/1749 Michel Desmarais, 2nd 1/31/1780 Jean-Baptiste Colleret & 3rd 1/25/1796 Rene-Nicolas Lafleur], Marie-Anne [8/17/1729][m. 4/28/1749 Pierre Prud'homme], Marie-Louise [8/28/1731-9/13/1788][m. 10/22/1756 Pierre Deveau], Joseph [3/18/1733][m. 1/25/1754 Francoise Favreau], Maurice [4/07/1735-12/25/1808][3/01/1756 Judith Provost], Sulpice-Pierre [2/22/1737-9/30/1777][m. 10/17/1763 Agathe Mornay], Jeane-Baptiste [3/02/1741-3/25/1741], Charles [3/21/1742][m. 2/16/1767 Agathe Payet], Jean-Baptiste [5/27/1744-7/15/1744], Marie-Cecile [7/25/1745-8/05/1745] & Pierre-Augustin [6/11/1747-6/18/1747].³ Louise's husband, Pierre, died circa 18 April 1747 in St-Sulpice, Quebec, Canada, leaving her a widow. She married 2nd Nicolas Ham on 11 January 1751. Louise departed this life on Sunday, 3 June 1781 in L'Assomption, L'Assomption County, Quebec, Canada, at age 76 years, 7 months and 16 days. She was buried there in the churchyard of St-Pierre-du-Portage on Monday, 4 June 1781.⁴
