     Sir John was born circa 1317 in Upton, county Norfolk, England.2 Sir married Joyce le Zouche de Mortimer, daughter of William le Zouche de Mortimer and Alice de Tony, before 31 May 1347 in England. John was a knight of Upton & 2nd Lord Botetourt, the 1st having been his paternal grandfather.3 Sir made his will in 1386. Sir departed this life in 1386 in Worchestershire, England, at Weoley Castle.4 He was buried at Halesowen, Worchestershire, England.
