Zachariah Booth

Zachariah married Anna Curtis, daughter of Benjamin Curtis and Ester Judson, on 12 June 1718 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut.1 Zachariah and Anna had children: Nathan [2/27/1720-12/27/1800] [m. 1741 Comfort Thompson], Zachariah [10/08/1721-9/17/1775] [m. Elizabeth Beers] & Daniel [2/06/1723-5/08/1801] [m. Mary Judson]. Zachariah's wife, Anna, died on 18 May 1733 in Stratford leaving him a widower. On 1 January 1734, he married 2nd Sarah Gilbert in Stratford. Zachariah made his will on 17 April 1760. In his will he mentions his sons Nathan, Zechariah, and Daniel (children by his 1st wife); his widow Sarah and daughters Anna, Phebe; and sons Hilkiah, Abel, Abijah, and Agur. He wrote a codicil to his will on 15 March 1762. He mentions Anna, the wife of Nathan Curtiss of Durham, and makes wife Sarah and sons Hilkiah and Abel executors. Zachariah departed this life on Saturday, 12 June 1762 in Stratford. His will was probated in September 1762.
