Through a lot of delination, we feel that Gilbert must have had a first marriage with a son Gilbert that is our line. We had the information that we descended from Jan Laurens Bogart - all it seems we need to know is which one of his children we descend. Gilbert departed this life after 12 December 1718 in Tappan, Orange Town, Orange County, New York.
