     Teunis Gysbert was born in 1625 in Heykoop, District of Vianen, South Holland, Netherlands. Teunis married Sarah Rapalje, daughter of Joris Jansen de Rapalje and Catalyntie Frisco, in 1654 in New York. He and Sarah were blessed with 7 children. Teunis married Geertje Jans Langendyck on 16 February 1687 in Flatbush, Kings County, Long Island, New York, at the Reformed Dutch Church. Geertje was the widow of Dirck Dey.2 Teunis departed this life in 1699 in Wallabout, Kings County, Long Island, New York.
