     Marie Elisabeth was born on Thursday, 29 July 1683 in Contrecoeur, Vercheres County, Quebec, Canada. She was christened there on 1 August 1683 in Tres Ste-Trinitie Church.1 Marie Elisabeth married Etienne Beignet dit Charly on 24 May 1716 in Sorel, St-Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada, at St-Pierre Church.2 Marie's husband, Etienne, died on 14 July 1716 in Sorel leaving her a widow. Marie Elisabeth married 2nd Jean-Baptiste Chevalier on 11 January 1724 in Sorel, St-Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada, at St-Pierre Church.3 Marie's husband, Jean-Baptiste, died on 27 October 1752 in Sorel leaving her a widow. Marie departed this life on Thursday, 10 May 1753 in Sorel at age 69 years, 9 months and 11 days.4 She was buried there in the churchyard of St-Pierre on Friday, 11 May 1753.5
