     John was born in 1533 in the parish of Over Stowey, Somersetshire, England. John married Christian Jugg on 18 August 1558 in Over Stowey at St. Peter & St. Paul Church.1 John & Christian had children: Mary [9/06/1560], Elizabeth [1/04/1562][m. 10/20/1586 Robert Slocombe], John [2/14/1564], Mary [2/14/1564], Anne [2/21/1568] & Richard [8/25/1570].2 John departed this life in the parish of Over Stowey. He was buried there in St. Peter & St. Paul Churchyard on Saturday, 21 August 1571.3
