Abigail Bishop

     Abigail was born on Wednesday, 30 October 1658 in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Deputy Govenor James & Mary [Lewin] Curtis Bishop. James was deputy govenor of Connecticut. On 22 January 1659, she was christened in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut. Abigail married 3rd William Maltby, son of John Maltby and Mary Williamson, before 7 August 1693 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut. She was first married in 1686 to John Talmage & second or possibly first to Moses Mansfield. Abigail's husband, William, died on 1 September 1710 in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut, leaving her a widow. Abigail departed this life on Friday, 24 October 1710 in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut.
