     Halenad de was born in Lavendon, Buckinghamshire, England. Halenad married Agnes fitz John. Agnes was 1st married to Warin de Munchensey, son of Hubert de Munchensey, Lord Edwardston & Muriel de Valoines.1 Halenad and his wife Agnes gave the Church of Holkam to the Abbey of Osney in 1168.2

He and his Wife, granted a Mark a Year Rent in Sutton, to Missenden Abby; and that they were Persons of the first Rank in those times, appears from the Witness to this deed of Gift, Adam sonof Will de Sutton, his principal Clerk of Chaplain; Benedict his Chaplain, Nic. De Brumfled his Sewer, Etc. William bishop of Norwich confirmed it.
