Anne Bellesoeur dit Lucas

Anne was born circa 1640 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France. She was the daughter of Germain Bellesoeur and Barbe Lucas. Early in 1665, she immigrated from her home in Ile-de-France as one of the Fille de Roi. Anne married Nicolas Massard on 12 October 1665 in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada, at the Basilica of Notre Dame.1 1667, Anne and her husband, Nicolas, were listed on the Canadian Census in Comte-de-Levis, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Nicolas Massart [30 years], his wife: Anne Bellecheur [24 years], Marie-Anne [8 months].2 1681, Anne and her husband, Nicolas, were listed on the Canadian Census in Comte-de-Levis, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Nicolas Massard [47 years], his wife: Anne Bellesoeur [35 years], Marie [15 years], Anne [13 years], Marguerite [11 years], Marie [9 years], Rene [7 years] & Jeanne [3 years].3 Anne's husband, Nicolas, died before 23 November 1685 in ville de Quebec at Hotel-Dieu, leaving her a widow. She married 2nd Jean Labert in 1686. She married 3rd, Jean Chevaudier on 14 July 1688 at Notre Dame de Quebec. Anne departed this life on Thursday, 11 December 1710 in ville de Quebec. She was buried there in the cemetery of Notre Dame on Friday, 12 December 1710.4
