Jean-Baptiste Beaugrand dit Champagne

M, b. 1672, d. circa 23 September 1730
     Jean-Baptiste was born in 1672 in Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Jean Beaugrand dit Champagne and Marguerite Samson.1 He was first married on 7 January 1730 to Francoise Guinard dit Dolone.2 Jean-Baptiste married 2nd Catherine Aure dit Laferriere, daughter of Rene Aure dit Grandmont and Denise Damanee, on 1 February 1717 in Sorel, St-Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada, at St-Pierre Church.3 Jean Baptiste and Catherine had a daughter, Marie Therese [5/16/1719-6/25/1719].4 Jean-Baptiste departed this life in Berthierville, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada. He was buried there in the churchyard of Ste-Genevieve on Saturday, 23 September 1730.5
