     Barbara was born circa 1746 in Virginia. Barbara married Ludwig Bibler, son of Johan Franciscus Bibler and Albertina Charlotha Grau, circa 1772 in Rockingham County, Virginia. Lewis & Barbara had children: Mary [2/02/1773-6/28/1848][m. Christian Kagy [1771-1831]], Susanne [2/08/1775-10/10/1818][m. 5/08/1808 Jacob Musselman [1769-1825]], Ann [12/04/1776-3/04/1825][m. 6/01/1799 John Hite [1772-1816]], Barbara Anne [12/25/1778-6/11/1810][m. 12/10/1803 John Hite [1783-1843], Magdalena [4/13/1788-8/07/1827][m. 6/15/1807 Jacob Ruffner [1781-1839]], Elizabeth [6/07/1782-3/04/1825][m. 4/20/1805 Thomas Warner [1775-1847]], Catherine [11/13/1793-8/02/1827][m. 9/17/1812 Martin Hite [1789-1822] & 2nd Joseph Keller] & Rebecca [3/27/1790-1/03/1871][m. 4/24/1810 Jacob Kagy].1 On 1 August 1786 Lewis & Barbary Bibler sell 127 acres to John Koontz according to Shenandoah deeds.2 Barbara's husband, Ludwig, died on 13 August 1798 in Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, Virginia, leaving her a widow. Barbara departed this life on Friday, 12 May 1815. She was buried there. Her stone reads: In Memory of Barbara Bibler, Consort of Lewis Bibler, Departeted This Life May 12th, 1815 aged 69 years.
