Emma was born circa 1653 in either Stamford, Fairfield County, Connecticut, or in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York. She was often referred to as Ame. Emma married Daniel Pearsall, son of Henry Pearsall and Anne Pankhurst, circa 1677 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. 31 August 1698, Daniel and Emma and her husband, [ROF:Hempstead Town] were listed on the Hempstead Town Census. Enumerated in this household were Daniel Pursell, Ame, Ann, Sarah, Daniel, John, Margery, Jean, Ame, Sarah William [half sister to Daniel]. Emma died before 20 April 1703 as she was noted as "deceased" in the will that her husband made on this date.
