Thomas Bascom II

     Thomas was born on Wednesday, 20 February 1641 in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. He was the son of Thomas and Avis Bascom. Thomas married Mary Newell, daughter of Thomas Newell and Rebecca Olmsted, on 30 March 1667 in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts.¹ Thomas and Mary had children: Thomas [8/20/1668], John [10/14/1671-10/4/1671] & John 10/14/1672-6/27/1755] [m. 12/12/1700 Thankful Webster]. Thomas departed this life on Sunday, 11 September 1689 in Northampton at age 48 years, 6 months and 22 days.²
