Benjamin Barnes

     Benjamin was born circa 1672 in East Hampton, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. He was a son of William Barnes. Benjamin married Abigail Linsley circa 1699.1 Benjamin's wife, Abigail, died in 1717 in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut, leaving him a widower.2 Benjamin married 2nd Hannah Sutliffe, daughter of Nathaniel Sutliffe and Hannah Plimpton, in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut.3 Benjamin departed this life on Saturday, 23 July 1740 in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut.
