     Christopher was born circa 1606 in County Suffolk, England. Christopher married Priscilla Elvin before 3 July 1635 in Great Yarmouth, County Suffolk, England. On 3 July 1635, Christopher & his wife, Priscilla, from London aboard the ship, "Love", under the command of Captain Joseph Yonges, enroute for New England. Among the eight passenters Christopher Youngs and his wife Priscilla. This ship was captained by Christopher's brother, Joseph. They landed at Salem, Massachusetts.2,1 The family lived for awhile in Salem before removing to Wenham, Massachusetts in 1644. Christopher's wife, Priscilla, died before 19 June 1647 in Essex County, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower. He made his will

He directed that his three children be sent back to Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, England. The two daughters to his mother-in-law, the wife of Richard Elvin to be brought up by her. He mentions his daughter Sarah, his sisters, the wife of Joseph Young and the wife of Thomas Moore of Salem.

On 2 May 1649, the general court ordered the executors to put the boy forth in this country, as Mr. John Phillips had declined to receive him. The two daughters also unless Mr. Elvin should prove willing to receive them..3 Christopher departed this life in Wenham. The inventory of Christopher's estate was taken on Friday, 5 July 1647. The value of his estate was 51 pounds 11 shillings. His will was probated on 7 July 1647.
