Jane was born circa 1545 in Rougham, County Norfolk, England. Jane married Edward Lomner. Jane married 2nd John Dodge. Jane's husband, Edward, died in 1588 in County Norfolk, leaving her a widow. Sometime after her husband's death and because she was left in very poor financial shape, she accepted an offer from her brother Edward to move into his home.1
