Nicholas` three son migrated together to America, landing at Sargus,Massachusetts [now called Lynn] in August of 1635. In 1637, the brothers moved to Sandwich in the Plymouth Colony and remained their until their final migration to Oyster Bay. Nicholas was married in Sandwich and had begun his familyby the time of their departure in 1653. The brothers, as well as their families, were quite active in public life and religious affairs. In fact, members of their families were jailed and persecuted for standing up in public for their beliefs. In spite of religious differences, the brothers prospered and after moving to Oyster Bay, where they were harldy accepted, they became large landowners. Nicholas departed this life in Barton Turf, County Norfolk, England.
