Elizabeth was born before 26 October 1606 in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England. She was the daughter of Henry & Isabell [Goodspeed] Wood. She was christened there on 26 October 1606 in the Church of St. Mary. She married first on 14 April 1630, John Potter in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. He died on August 10 1644 in New Haven leaving her a widow.^1,2 Elizabeth married Edward Parker before 16 July 1646.³ Elizabeth's husband, Edward, died in 1662 in New Haven County, Connecticut, leaving her a widow. She married third, Robert Rose after 7 june 1664 in .Branford, New Haven County. Elizabeth departed this life on Wednesday, 28 July 1677 in New Haven.
