Philip was born circa 1562 in County Norfolk, England, at Kimberley Hall. He was the son and heir of Sir Roger Wodehouse and Mary Corbet. He graduated from Trinity College, Camb. 1575 and enter the Lincoln Inn in 1580. He was the heir of his father who died in 1588. Rhilip and Griswell had children: Thomas [1585-3/18/1658] [m. 6/16/1605 Blanche Carey], Roger and possibly others. Philip married Griswell Yelverton, daughter of William Yelverton and Jane Cocket, circa 1586 in Rougham, County Norfolk, England.3 Philip departed this life on Monday, 30 October 1623.
