     Caleb was born circa 1638 in Sandwich, Cape Cod, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Caleb married Elizabeth Dickerson circa 1677 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Caleb made his will on 2 February 1695 at Oyster Bay Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York.

Caleb Wright, of Oyster Bay, 2 Feb., 1695. Half of moveable estate to wife, Elizabeth, and half to daus. Elizabeth & Penelope when eighteen. To the daus. Also rights in meadow on the highway to Jericho, called the old or south field. Residue to son, William, when of age. Wife sole exx. Trustees: Jon. Townsend at mill, Nathaniel Coles, Jr., & my bro. Jon. Wright. Wits: Henry Townsend, Anthony Wright, & Josiah Harrison.2
