Roger Williams II

     Roger was born in May 1680 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. He was the son of Daniel Williams, grandson of Roger Williams. Roger married Elizabeth Walling, daughter of James Walling and Elizabeth Sprague, on 1 May 1729 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. Roger & Elizabeth had children: Elizabeth [1734] [m. Jonathan Tourtellot] & Rebecca [1735-1816] [m. David Thayer & 2nd Peleg Williams]. Roger's wife, Elizabeth, died between 1748 and 7 March 1752 in Scituate, Providence County, Rhode Island, leaving him a widower. Roger departed this life on Sunday, 30 January 1763 in Scituate, Providence County, Rhode Island, at age 82 years and 8 months. He was buried there in Tourtellot Lot.
