Sarah was born circa 1592 in Norwich, County Norfolk, England. Sarah married William Minter before 1613 in Norwich, County Norfolk, England. On 3 May 1613, William & Sarah removed from Norwich, England to Leyden, Holland. On 10 September 1614, William & Sarah purchased a home from William Jepson on Groenhasegracht.2 Sarah's husband, William, died before July 1618 in Leyden, South Holland, Netherlands, leaving her a widow. Sarah married 2nd Roger Simmons on 18 August 1618 in Leyden, South Holland, Netherlands.3 On 20 September 1619, Roger & Sarah sold the house on Groenehasegracht which Sahar and her 1st husband had owned. They lived for a short time in Amsterdam before residing in Leyden.4 Sarah departed this life before 6 March 1629 in Leyden, South Holland, Netherlands. She was buried at Leyden, South Holland, Netherlands, in St. Peter's Churchyard.5

- [S1307] Henry Morton Dexter, The England & Holland of the Pilgrims, page 572 - 10 days later, on July 14, the two daughters of Thomas Willet, from Norwich, were betrothed [Sarah & Rebecca]: Rebecca to Daniel Fairfield, from Colchester, a son of Jacob Fairfield & a say weaver, with Roger Simmons & Mary Allerton as witnesses; Sarah, whose first husband, William Minter, had died, to Roger Simmons, from Sarum, a mason, with Thomas & Alice Willet, her parents, and John Carver & Daniel Fairfield as witnesses. Daniel & Rebecca were married on August 4 and Roger & Sarah on August 18.

- [S1307] Henry Morton Dexter, The England & Holland of the Pilgrims, page 578 - On the next day, September 20 [1619], Roger Simmons sold to Jacob Cornelis de Haas for 746 gilders, more than 100 gilders less than Minter had paid for it in 1614, the house on the Groenehasegracht which his wife, Sarah, had inherited from her first husband, William Minter; and William Robertson is mentioned again as owning the nest house on one side.
