     Andrew was born on Tuesday, 5 October 1655 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Andrew married Ann Coddington, daughter of William Coddington and Anne Brinley, on 30 May 1682. Andrew made his will on 16 March 1712 at South Kingston, Bristol County, Rhode Island. Andrew departed this life on Wednesday, 6 April 1712 in North Kingston, Washington County, Rhode Island. He was buried at Bullock's Cove, Swansea Township, Bristol County, Massachusetts. His will was probated in April 1712.

    , pages 63 - The Willett family were closely identified with the Carpenter family in Rhode Island, and are together frequently mentioned in the Providence Records, as also in the Plymouth writings.
    The father of Ann and Mary Willetts, the two wives of Joseph Carpenter=° of Musketa Cove, was Andrew, who was born at Plymouth, Mass., 1655. He was for a time a merchant in Boston. About 168o he removed to Rhode Island, and in 1692 he occupied the house at Boston Neck built by his brother-in-law John Saffin, speaker of the Massachusetts Assembly. He (Andrew) was representative from Westerly to the Colonial Assembly of Rhode Island. His wife was Ann, daughter of Hon. William Coddington of Newport, R. I. Their children were Francis, who married Mary, daughter of Thomas and Mary Taylor of Jamaica, L. I.; he died in 1776, aged 63 years, leaving no issue ; his property he bequeathed to his nephew Francis Carpenter, whom he adopted in his youth. Thomas, born 1696, died 1725. Martha, married Simon Pearse, a merchant of Newport and Providence. Ann and Mary, wives of Joseph Carpenter.
    Andrew Willett died 1712 and with his wife was buried on their farm at North Kingston, R. I., which is also the Carpenter burial-ground.
