Pierre was born in 1718 in Louvres, Val-d'Oise, Ile de France, France. He immigrated to Quebec on the King's ship "Le Heros" as a naval recruit, serving as a gunner in 1736.1 Pierre married Catherine-Angelique Geoffroy, daughter of Thomas Geoffroy and Jeanne Salois, on 9 September 1738 in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada, at the Basilica of Notre Dame.2 Pierre's wife, Catherine-Angelique, died on 4 September 1774 in Lanoraie, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. Pierre married 2nd Marie-Marguerite Guerin on 9 August 1779 in Berthierville, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada, at Ste-Genevieve Church.3 Pierre's wife, Marie-Marguerite, died on 22 January 1788 in St-Pierre, Montmagny County, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. Pierre departed this life on Sunday, 7 March 1790 in Lanoraie, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada, at age 72 years. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Joseph on Friday, 12 March 1790.4
