James Warriner

M, b. 21 January 1641, d. 14 May 1727
     James was born on Monday, 21 January 1641 in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. He was the eldest son of William Warriner & Joanna Searle of Springfield.1 James married Elizabeth Baldwin, daughter of Joseph Baldwin and Hannah Whitlock, on 31 March 1664 in Hadley, Hampshire County, Massachusetts.2 James & Elizabeth had children: Samuel [11/21/1666-1668/1669], James [7/19/1668], Elizabeth [8/01/1670], William [1/06/1673], Hannah [2/15/1675], Joseph [11/06/1677], Samuel [1/26/1680], Ebenezer [3/04/1682], & Mary [4/01/1685].3 His step mother, Elizabeth married around 1677, as her 3rd husband, Joseph Baldwin, his wife's father. James's wife, Elizabeth, died on 24 April 1687 in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower.4 He married second at Springfield on Jul 10,1689, Sarah Alvord, and he married third on Dec 29,1704, Mary Graves. James departed this life on Wednesday, 14 May 1727 in Springfield at age 86 years, 3 months and 23 days.5 He was buried there in the Springfield Cemetery.6
