Richard was probably born at Bassingbourne, Cambridgeshire, England. Richard married Beatrice (?) in England. His father names him when he wrote his will on 28 March 1557. His brother-in-law, John Foote mentions him in his will, although not dated, which was probated 18 July 1558. On 05 Feb 1572/73, he was among those named in his brother William's will.1 Richard made his will on 23 October 1580 at Bassingbourne, Cambridgeshire, England.
