Temperance was born circa 1676 in South River, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, at All Hallow's Parish. Temperance married Joseph Holbruck on 16 February 1696 in South River at All Hallow's Parish Church. Joseph and Temperance had children: Joseph [9/27/1697][m. 10/04/1716 Mary], John [1701][m. 1721 Jane Jones] & Anne [4/02/1704]. Temperance departed this life in South River at All Hallow's Parish. She was buried there in All Hallows Church Cemetery on Saturday, 16 May 1705.
