     Thomas was born circa 1712 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. Thomas married Mary Inman, daughter of Edward Inman III and Mary Malavery, in Rhode Island.1 Thomas's wife, an unknown person , died before 1740, leaving him a widower; Mary's father mentions her two daughters in his will on 28 May 1755. Since she is not mentioned specifically herself, it appears she has died. Thomas married 2nd Elizabeth Vinton circa 1740 in Smithfield, Providence County, Rhode Island. He removed to New Hartford, Connecticut where he is on record as purchasing land as early as 1646. His brothers, Daniel & William also removed there. Thomas departed this life in 1798 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.
