Nicolas Vigneault

M, b. circa 11 March 1707, d. circa 7 January 1778
     Nicolas was born in St-Sulpice, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Francois Vigneault & Catherine Laurance. He was christened there on 11 March 1707 in St-Sulpice Church.1 Nicolas married Marie-Angelique Laporte, daughter of Jean-Baptiste Laporte dit St-Georges and Marie-Angelique Lescarbot dit Bosseron, on 23 June 1741 in St-Sulpice at St-Sulpice Church.2 Nicolas and Marie Angelique had children: Jean Baptiste [3/11/1742-2/05/1809][ m. 3/31/1761 Marie Marguerite Cote], Marie Angelique [5/14/1743-8/09/1744], Louis [8/24/1745-12/02/1804][m. 11/04/1771 Marie Anne Fournier], Marie Angelique [6/29/1747-7/18/1796][m. 2/23/1767 Jean Baptist Robert], Gabriel [4/23/1749-9/26/1749], Laurent [9/11/1750-7/09/1816][m. 2/19/1776 Marie Therese Laurence], Marie Anne [7/30/1752-3/07/1758], Francois Sulpice [1/25/1754-4/29/1810][m. Marie Josephe Dalpe dit Belair], Joseph Antoine [5/07/1756-d.y.], Marie Marguerite [6/10/1657-7/26/1757], Marie Catherine [7/23/1758-3-25-1810][m. 6/16/1788 Alexis Louis Morin], Marie Ann [12/17/1760-1/11/1761], child [ -9/13/1763], Antoine [2/13/1764-d.y.] & Marie Amable [5/24/1766-7/13/1766].3 Nicolas departed this life in Repentigny, L'Assomption County, Quebec, Canada. He was buried there in the cemetery of the Purificaton-de-la-Blessed-Virgin-Mary on Wednesday, 7 January 1778.4
