He & his family moved to New Jersey where In 1695, he purchased lands from Thomas Budd of Great Egg Harbor. Jonas made his will on 2 November 1702 at Great Egg Harbor, Gloucester County, New Jersey. Jonas departed this life in Great Egg Harbor, Gloucester County, New Jersey. His will was probated on 26 May 1703. It was recorded in Burlington County & administered in Gloucester County.
