Hannah was born in Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut. She was christened there on 17 January 1696/97 in the first Church of Milford.1 Hannah married Josiah Fowler on 6 January 1723 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut. Hannah's husband, Josiah, died on 7 September 1757 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut, leaving her a widow. Josiah and Hannah had children: Josiah [3/03/1724-5/17/1802] [m. 2/13/1752 Ruth Hall], Hannah [4/12/1725-4/__/1810] [m. 1748 Col Street Hall], Caleb [1727-1/31/1807] [m. 1759 Anne Rose] & Elizabeth [10/11/1728-12/31/1820] [m. Deacon Benjamin Maltby]. Hannah departed this life on Tuesday, 10 December 1776 in Northford, New Haven County, Connecticut. She was buried there in the Northford Old Cemetery. The inscription on her tombstone reads: In memory of Mrs. Hannah, relict of Mr. Josiah Fowler who died...in the 80th year of her age.2
