Mary was born circa 1582 in Warwickshire, England, at Kenilworth Manor. Like her older sister, after her mother’s death she moved to the household of Arnold Oldisworth in St. Martins-in-the-field where she lived and worked until she died still a teen. On her death bed, she made a nuncupative will in November.
In the name of God, Amen. Marie Underhill, maiden servant to Master Oldesworth in St Martin's-in-the-Fields, in the county of Middlesex, being sick in body yet of perfect mind and memory, did voluntarily (because she mistrusted her life by reason of her sickness) declare her last will and testament in December last in anno domini one thousand six hundred and one or thereabouts to this affect. As followeth, vielicet after that she had commended her soul to God and her body to the earth. She gave all her goods, whatsoever she had, to be equally divided between all her brothers and sister living being present and hearing the same. , Mistress Oldesworthe, her sister, with others as witness.2
Mary departed this life before 16 December 1601 in Westminister, London, County Middlesex, England, at St. Martin's-in-the-Field. She was buried at Westminister, London, County Middlesex, England, in St. Martin's-in-the-Field. Her will was probated on 16 February 1602.
