Enoch Tuells
M, b. 1760, d. 27 February 1823
Enoch was born in 1760. Enoch married Anna Torrey, daughter of Samuel Torrey II and Abigail Cowell, on 12 March 1785 in Middletown.1 According to an article in a Connecticut paper of 30 June 1796, Enoch and Anna had 15 children in 11 years, which included 4 sets of twins born in succession.2 The 1800 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut, the family of Enoch Tuell [1101:21011].3 Enoch departed this life on Thursday, 27 February 1823 in Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut, at age 63 years.4
