Augustin Balard

M, b. 30 September 1691, d. circa 30 April 1724
     Augustin was born on Sunday, 30 September 1691 in Cap St-Ignace, Montmagny County, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Louis Balard dit LaTour and Marguerite Migneron. He was christened there on 8 October 1691 in St-Ignace Church.1 Augustin married Marie-Jeanne Sylvestre, daughter of Nicolas Sylvestre and Barbe Neveu, on 12 November 1714 in Neuville, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Francois-de-Sales Church, Pointe-Aux-Tremples.2 Augustin & Marie-Jeanne had children: Marguerite [1715-2/10/1731], Louis [1717-9/17/1768][m. 6/01/1739 Marie Marguerite Brule] & Augustin-Etienne [1719-11/22/1791][m. 8/17/1746 Victoire-Cecile Tremblay & 2nd 9/10/1764 Marie-Josephte Bolduc].3 Augustin departed this life in Cap St-Ignace. He was buried there in St-Ignace Cemetery on Sunday, 30 April 1724.4
