Nathaniel Travis1,2

M, b. 1755, d. 25 January 1838
     Nathaniel was born in 1755 in the colonies. Nathaniel married Rose Crowell, daughter of Jonathan Crowell II and Rhoda Nickerson, on 7 December 1786 in Argyle, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was a mariner. Nathaniel departed this life on Thursday, 25 January 1838 at age 83 years.

Obituary: Deaths--At Argyle on the 25th ult. Mr Nathaniel Travis in the 85th year of his age. One of the Loyalist who came to Nova Scotia in 1783. He died in full assurance of a happy resurrection. [Yarmouth Herald & Western Advertiser - Saturday 3 February 1838]
