Mary Tower

     Mary was born on Thursday, 3 November 1672 in Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Jeremiah & Elizabeth [Rowland] Tower. Mary married William Sprague, son of William Sprague and Mellicent Eames, on 5 November 1709 in Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. [Date of Marriage Intentions] William & Mary had children: Rowland [10/21/1710][m. 1/14/1745 Lydia Herendon], Mary [8/10/1712][m. 9/27/1737 Nathaniel Arnold] Peter [10/01/1714-5/04/179014][m. Hannah] & Judith [m. 1/03/1741 Nathaniel Waterman]. They are all born in Providence.¹ Mary's husband, William, died on 26 September 1723 in Providence leaving her a widow.
